Pencilling in a GDP growth in third and fourth quarters, SBI Research on Wednesday revised its contraction forecast for the current fiscal year to 7 per cent. The various deposit rates of SBI are in the range of 4 per cent to 7.75 per cent. The bank added that it reviewed the base rate -- the minimum lending rate below which bank cannot offer loans -- at existing level of 7.50 per cent.

State Bank of India on Wednesday said it did not have any immediate plans to revise its home loan rates, including that of the 8 per cent special scheme originally slated to end this week.
